After the last two year’s successful events, the DogRisk



Evidence Based Raw Food Seminar will again be held in Helsinki!
Helsinki is a beautiful place to be in and getting here is not hard

either. So, once again, we welcome you to another 2 days filled with
the newest research. There is evidence that humans can help both their
pets, and themselves, by eating and
drinking better.


Also this time we have excellent researchers and lecturers
(see the program below) sharing their knowledge. This should be as
interesting for all people feeding their dogs or eating themselves:
students, faculty or practitioners of nutrition, clinical

nutrition, human or veterinary medicine, pet owners, parents,
nurses…The DogRisk research group at the Department of Equine and small
Animal Medicine, Veterinary Sciences at the University of Helsinki,
welcomes you all to join!



When?


Friday and Saturday, September 6-7, 2019.




Where?

The University of Helsinki main building is under renovation so we had to move out to Poliisien kesämaja, Länsiulapanniemi 6, Lauttasaari, Helsinki 00200. A wonderful house near the beach but inside Helsinki.



For whom?


Veterinary and human health practitioners and nutritionists, nurses,
students, dog and cat owners. Anybody with an interest in
multidisciplinary research on the relationships between diet and
disease, in humans and pets.

Please, only one name per registration, with name, e-mail, telephone etc. and which day/days each of you will participate. If you want to register several, please fill in as many registrations as persons attending as all have different names, titles, dietary info etc.




Cost: If you are not faculty or a HY
student: The University is hopelessly slow so you will probably not get
your invoice before the seminar, but after. This is not our fault and we
invite you to come anyway and then just pay after the seminar, when you
get the invoice. Sorry for the inconvenience. Our seminar fee pays for
the lecturer, the lecture hall, the lunch, the coffees etc.so we never
make a profit. But in case we someday would, all extra revenues would go
to sponsoring the nutrition research done by the DogRisk research group
at the University of Helsinki. The fee does not cover TRAVELING,
ACCOMMODATION OR DINNERS.


The organized drinks and dinner on Friday we try to get partly sponsored, and charge you only 30 €. Please enter this in the registration form when you register through the links above – it is not full!
